Nicky Hilton, one of the Hilton heiresses, is planning on hosting a poker tournament. She is planning on hosting the tournament with her boyfriend, actor Kevin Connolly (Entourage). The pair helped break in the new poker room at Caesars Palace on New Year's Eve, when they co-hosted a poker tournament there. It was there at Pure, Caesars nightclub that the fun began, while Nicky's sister, Paris, was hosting her own version across the street at the Venetian.
The big names there that night included; Mike Matusow, winner of the 2005 WSOP Tournament of Champions, 2004 WSOP main event runner-up David Williams, back-to-back WSOP bracelet-winner Scott Fischman, pro poker spouses Chip and Karina Jett, Joe Awada, Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari, Evelyn Ng, Cyndy Violette, John Phan, as well as Jennifer Tilly and boyfriend Phil “Unabomber” Laak. At that tournament 92 players entered the tournament, and while Hilton didn’t win, apparently she had a good fight. Although she didn't win the tournament, this Hilton did well. She apparently lasted over two hours beating out some of the pros. Hilton is apparently a regular at celebrity poker events, so she was no stranger to the game. |
