Developers of a new casino in Orange County are planning to break ground to build next week. State and Federal agencies held a session in Paoli last Wednesday to promote economic growth efforts. It seems it may have an effect too.
Representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Indiana Rural Development Council answered questions from local residents on economic growth. These prospects may allow for some changes in the area. Area changes have many interests sparked.
State Representative Jerry Denbo (D-French Lick) says that more than 100 area residents have already inquired about how to achieve this. Denbo says people are interested in learning more about development assistance can contact the USDA, or State Rural Development Council. Both departments can be found in Indianapolis. |
