The Gambling Act 2005 granted licenses to one super casino, as well as eight large and eight small casinos, recently in the UK. This licensing will also allow them to host live entertainment in their particular areas. Most casinos have other options at their sites for entertainment, and these casinos are nothing different.
While many think that only one super casino would be permitted to host a live show that is simply untrue. It has been two years since gambling legislation was changed, and not all casinos will have this luxury. The UK’s first cabaret casino, in more than forty years, was found at Star City Casino in Birmingham.
Star City Casino has a sizable entertainment showroom that is available for more than two hundred guests. Smaller casinos will have smaller spaces, but the entertainment will be there on the sites. Jobs might be few because the smaller scale need, but at leas they will have the opportunity that the others have all over the world. |
