The New Jersey Casino Control Commission revealed recently that Atlantic City Casinos' winnings added up to $504.8 million, in July. Atlantic City casinos improved their winnings by 6.5% last July in 2004. The increase in winnings can in part be attributed to a 5.3 % rise from slot machines.
The slot machine revenues added up to $376.1 million, at Atlantic City's 12 casinos. This is also attributed to the 10.2 % increase in table game revenues, equaling 128.7 million. The casino said it was the Tropicana Resort that helped them succeed.
They walked away, from this, with a reported 31% increase. This was only next followed by Boyd Gaming Corp. and MGM Mirage Inc. Both of the experienced 19.3% increases. |
