Missouri Gaming Commission figures illustrate that revenues have improved for two Kansas City casinos, while they declined for another two. All these statistics were taken in in July of this year.
Wichita, Kansas will be keeping a close look on these. This is because there is growing interest in constructing casinos Wichita. The Iowa Tribe of Kansas has shown interest in building a casino in the North of Wichita, in addition to two other groups.
Kansas City market had a rise of $60.9 million this July, compared to $60 million found in 2004. The biggest revenue found in Kansas City was the Ameristar Casino & Hotel Kansas City. It had revenues of $23.1 million, a 5% increase from last year’s $22 million. Harrah's North Kansas City Casino & Hotel also reported revenue growth of 7%, with revenue increasing from $16.3 million last year to $17.5 million. Argosy Casino and Isle of Capri Casino both decreased. |
