An Employee at McKee’s Rocks woman and a Moon Township man have recently been charged with illegal gambling. State police said they had a woman named Amanda Jenkins, 23, since she exchanged tickets from a video slot machine for cash on May 31 at Jabby Joe's in Robinson Township. An undercover officer witnessed the exchange of tickets with Timothy A. Burke, 44.
On July 14, a search warrant for gambling was served. Five video slot machines, including the payout one, as well as the $493 in cash were seized as evidence. Burke, President of Joji Babu Inc., owns Jabby Joe's.
Burke has been charged with possessing illegal gambling devices, allowing illegal gambling devices to be used and allowing gambling. Jenkins is charged with allowing gambling. Both will serve terms unknown to the public. |
