Two casinos, which are meant for construction in Philadelphia, are already creating hype. They could generate make between $668 million and $747 million in their first full year of operation. These statistics came from the final report of the Philadelphia Gaming Task Force released last week.
Philadelphia has been approved for two of the fourteen casinos to be built throughout Pennsylvania. This will also allow for between 7,000 and 12,000 new jobs from the casinos, also according to the report. Many sites were considered, but many were also rejected as the sites of the final two casinos.
Gaming revenue could rise if these casinos are put in very public view. The developers of these casinos should take a point to make use of the little they have. If there will only be two casinos, they need to make them noticeable, if future business is to rise. |
