The Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno, Nevada is planning to build a skywalk later this year.
The planned sky bridge will connect the casino to the Reno - Sparks Convention Center so that potential players can be channelled into the casino. This is part of a $50 million expansion plan the casino has.
The hotel and casino resort is hoping that work will be able to begin later this year for the 116,000 square foot expansion plan. The expansion would greatly increase and enhance both the casino and the convention center.
The sky bridge will be built over Peckham Lane, and plans have already been approved by the city in part of the company's master plan proposed in 1998.
The bridge and skywalk still need to obtain the approval of the Reno – Sparks Convention Center and Visitors Authority board of Directors.
If the project is given the go ahead it should take between 10 – 12 months to complete. |
