An online poker operation is preparing their new launch, which will be an upgraded service. These plans will include the acquisition of two of their four partners and ended their relationship with Coral Eurobet. This will all cost the company $14.5 million or 8.3 million Pounds in cash.
The cash will go to take over another online poker site. Another site take over will cost the company around $4 million. The two deals bring in about 300,000 players to the poker web sites, and give the company access to the previous company’s Scandinavian clientele.
Following this news, the shares were lifted up 1.6% to 93 pence. This was valuing the group at around 3.7 billion Pounds. Chief Executive of the online poker operation, Richard Segal, was happy about the news. They have been planning to integrate and grow, and are looking forward to 2006. They hope by next year there will be more customers, and high Pound signs. |
