Birmingham has a gag order to keep them quiet. It seems that they have been a little too loud about a casino that might come to their area in Saltley. The city now has been told to keep quiet.
The proposed super casino now has a four-year gagging order. This will be a self-imposed order by the Birmingham City Council. What this will means is that the city is forbidden from releasing any information on the deal for the next for years.
A request by The Birmingham Post to publish details of the agreement was refused by lawyers. The Freedom of Information Act request was also refused. All information that is surrounding the Wheels Park site cannot be disclosed until 2009, that is the order. |
