“Visit Florida” is the tourism promotion agency working for Sterling Casino Lines, as they help this casino and Florida get tourism back. They are calling it one of the "Top Ten Unique Experiences in Florida." The agency is using the casino ship as their luring method. The advertisement talks about four of the state’s casino ship lounges, and games.
Florida Governor Jeb Bush, will attempt to oppose a voter-approved constitutional amendment that would bring slot machines to Broward County in his up coming meeting. Bush is just one of the politicians that is against Florida expansion. The governor also believes that lottery games should be reduced, slots are dangerous, and bingo should be banned even when it comes to charities.
Those in opposition are not so happy with this promotion idea, because it means more tax payer dollars for an illegal ship. The casino ship will dock at Port Canaveral in Brevard County, Florida. However gambling can only take place if it is over international waters. |
