Mega Millions for many reasons has been the talk of the town, partly because of its battle in California, but also because it is so hard to hit. Players from coast to coast are playing in one of the 12 states part of this interstate lottery game. There have been nearly 400,000 tickets purchased, but no winner of all the numbers including the Mega Ball.
Two tickets matched most of the numbers, but none for all six. As the jackpot stays untouched it grows. This time it has grown to$16 million.
The two tickets that each won $250,000, but no one hit the multi- million dollar mark with all numbers. Those tickets were purchased in Georgia and New York. What this means for the other states of California, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington is they may have a shot for the next jackpot. The next jackpot will be held on Friday, and then maybe there will be a winner. |
