The police department in Busan, South Korea, has taken very seriously taking out the casinos in the area, and they will stop at nothing in their way. Already they have arrested three owners, and 19 employees of a place called the ‘Casino Bar.’ This place was a full gambling site with gaming tables, and dealers.
The casino owners were issued an arrest warrant, because they had not been authorized by Department of Travel and Culture to open any type establishment of this sort. One of the owners was permitted to own a restaurant. Later he added five casino machines, and added four dealers. The owner then earned about 138 million Won ($134,000) from this operation.
The two other illegal casino bars have been discovered in Hwamyung-dong and Jwa-dong. Both casino bars made about 5 to 10 million Won. This area has not allowed this, and so what these men were doing was illegal. They were conducting businesses that led to the exchanging of chips for money. |
