Pennsylvania State Senator Gib E. Armstrong is not a big proponent of slot machines, and definitely not in his state. If he has anything to say about it, it isn’t positive. Those developers of a proposed casino in downtown Lancaster aren’t getting his support or anyone else’s when it comes to slots and the state.
Armstrong claimed that attorneys Jerome Finefrock and James Nettleton Jr. would not be likely to be approved by the State Gaming Control Board for slots. It isn’t because of any other reason, but that there are only two licenses in the state that can go for this under state law, and they have already been claimed. More that two will not be accepted in the state. So they have a small chance when 14 are already applying for these spots in the state for slot machines. |
