The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has decided to name a legislative liaison. They decided to ask Dan Stambaugh to accept the position. Stambaugh, a veteran staffer in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, has been the in business for quite sometime now and was an obvious choice.
The liaisons job is to be the in between guy with the Board and the Legislature. Stambaugh's long-time service on Capitol Hill is what led the board to handing him this position. Tad Decker, Chairman of the Board believes that he will contribute well to the staff.
Stambaugh experience is great in politics. He has been an analyst in the Office of Republican Policy Development and Research in the State Senate since 2004, and that is not all. It was from 1990 and 2004; he worked on the staffs of several senators, including Joseph Conti, Jane Earll and Roger Madigan. He holds a Bachelor's degree in political science from Juniata College, and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.
It was the best decision for Pennsylvania, and they hope it will be more profitable for them too. Pennsylvania needs need help, and Stambaugh will be that help. The board needed that type of liaison, and now they have it. |
