Atlantic City, unlike Las Vegas was almost always known as being popular for senior citizen. These older gamblers generally went to AC to play slots, but now that may have changed. Atlantic City is becoming a young happening place now.
Today, many young adults are hitting the casino scene. This transition has changed as Atlantic City started to build new night clubs, and beach bars. One of the noted hot nightspots is owned by rap icon Jay-Z. It is because of this that younger people are becoming more interested in going to AC for fun.
Atlantic City may have become famous for casinos and gambling, but with additions to the city they are bringing in new crowds. Nightlife brings them to AC, but casinos entice them during the day. It is because of this that 60% of today’s Atlantic City casino players are under the age of 50. Atlantic City is now coming back to life, and soon to be something to compete with the western casino town of Las Vegas. |
